Curatorial Practice

The advances, effects, and applications of digital technology, and the social determinants of health, are the main concerns that influence my approach to digital curatorial practice. Digital curation offers the possibility for innovative communication of unique experiences, and it also gives voice to those who are silenced.

As a Co-Curator in the annual exhibit, The Body Electric, with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC), and the AMS Phoenix, I enjoy the process of collaborating with artists and designers to share the intent of their creative, and imaginative works, and I have an interest in studying digital curation models, techniques, and online archiving. Since the inaugural exhibition in 2014, we have received submissions from Finland, Germany, Ireland, Sweden, Thailand, The Netherlands, and the USA.
